  Good, helpful staff (well, most of them), but I do wish they would label plants fully, and with clear instructions as to what to do as soon as you got your plant home.
  How nice to be able to tell your friends, "I've got a 'Senecio rowley-anus'", rather than 'succulent mix'.

  This is a large chain garden centre rather than individually managed. That is evident by a lack of reasonably priced basics such as compost, slug pellets and bird food. Staff OK but not that knowledgeable and plants rather expensive for what they are. Overall worth looking around for somewhere a little more individual and certainly with more reasonable prices.

  We took 2 ladies in their 90,s to The cafe in Taunton and was not happy with the service. It was a Saturday and seemed to be all youngsters who really did not know what they were doing to the point of getting a simple food order wrong. Having worked in a restaurant myself I think they need more training. May not be inclined to visit again.
